Vaccinations NOT a cause of Autism

I had a post on here a while back about the debate of vaccinating your child. To recap, I do vaccinate Aubrey because I believe it is better to be safe than sorry. However, I respect a parent’s right to make their own decisions for their own children.

I just thought this story was relevant to that and wanted to share it.

thanks for sharing the story. Autism is a difficult diagnosis for families. Maybe this ruling will put some brakes on Autism being a ‘hot diagnosis’ for kids who do not have it. That way, families who really have to deal with Autism can have the best help.

Angie, I agree. As more and more people are choosing not to vaccinate their children out of fear, cases of Autism have risen, so the numbers just don’t add up. I knew an autistic kid when I was living in Tulsa for my semester off and it is heartbreaking. I hope new research and cures are found soon. I can’t imagine what it must be like to parent a child with that disorder, I truly admire those parents and wish for their strength.

When we started researching vaccines, I was really disgusted and surprised that many are grown on 2 aborted fetuses. Just FYI; and, you are going to see a lot more news and “research” come out about vaccines. Just beware- drug companies are businesses and not always out for your best interest.

Cindy, thanks for the website, I’ll check it out. I don’t think I can be convinced not to vaccinate my child, though. Everyone I know was vaccinated and they are fine. I spread Aubrey’s shots over two weeks if there are more than 3 vaccines going in. Also, I got that chain email about the aborted fetuses thing as well and was completely disgusted as anyone should be, so I called Aubrey’s doctor freaking out. She said that their office would never purchase or offer vaccinations with those ingredients and furthermore, it is a myth and no one she knows in the medical field uses them, nor are they common. That put my mind to rest as she has been a doctor for over 20 years now.
